Tiger Challenge 2019 announces its International Winners!

Teams doctHERs: SMART Healthcare for Textile Workers in Bangladesh, Drinkwell, and Feelix by Sonavi Labs won the title of the winners at the International Tiger Challenge Finals, held on 11 December 2019.

14 exceptional finalist teams presented their solutions to a judging panel comprised of experts from various fields, venture capitalists, and industry leaders, and to a live audience at the grand public pitch event that was staged on Wednesday, 11 December 2019.

The three winning teams triumphed over their competitors and took home the winner’s trophy; they also earned the access to investment funding of up to US $2,000,000.

doctHERs aims to create gender-inclusive employment by up-skilling Female Frontline health workers (nurses and midwives), equipping them with technology and deploying them in SMART telemedicine clinics inside garment factories.

Drinkwell

Drinkwell’s “Water as a Service” solution positively changes the lives of people in Bangladesh as it enables low-income households to reliably access safe, affordable drinking water; reduce risk of water-related illnesses, creating jobs in the community and improving the public health of the community.

Feelix by Sonavi Labs

Sonavi Labs created the Feelix product line to enable clinicians, global health workers, and patients to quickly identify acute and chronic respiratory problems. Feelix captures lung sounds to analyze and classify through on-board artificial intelligence.
